Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Build custom WordPress solutions based on business and client requirements
- Optimize website performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals
- Implement SEO-friendly and mobile-responsive designs
- Work with page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery
- Integrate third-party APIs and external tools
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues efficiently
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in WordPress development
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience in custom theme and plugin development
- Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and actions
- Experience with WooCommerce development (preferred)
- Knowledge of REST API integration
- Strong understanding of website optimization and SEO best practices
- Experience with Git version control
